Ruby is originally from County Meath, where she continues to live, and her interest in the horse industry developed through her family’s involvement in racehorse ownership, alongside her own experience in horse riding and showing. A graduate of TU Dublin with a degree in Marketing, Ruby has built a strong foundation across all aspects of the discipline within the racing industry.
Ruby currently leads the digital marketing at Leopardstown Racecourse, with a key focus on growing attendances and expanding audiences while maintaining a core emphasis on racing. Her work has played a significant role in the racecourse’s recent success, including record-breaking attendance figures at Christmas 2025 and a landmark sell-out of the 2026 Dublin Racing Festival. In addition, Ruby works closely with Horse Racing Ireland, assisting with digital coverage at major international events such as Cheltenham Festival.
She has also been instrumental in enhancing Leopardstown’s international profile, working with leading global yards and connections to improve their experience in Ireland. Coverage of the Japanese runner Shin Emperor during consecutive visits attracted widespread media attention, further strengthening Leopardstown’s position in attracting international runners.
